Vinicius Olmos Battistini
President
Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Escola Politécnica USP (2016). Partner at Inovatech Engenharia, where he structured the building performance consulting division. He mainly works on the following topics: natural lighting assessment, thermal and energy performance, acoustic performance, MEP, BIM and software development. He was also part of the committee for the revision of NBR 15.575 in the areas of thermal, natural lighting, and acoustic performance.
Ana Paula Melo
Vice-President
Ana Paula holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering (2005), an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (2007), and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (2012) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, which included a doctoral internship at the Eindhoven University of Technology (2010-2011), followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at RWTH Aachen University. Since 2019, she has served as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, focusing her work on Energy Efficiency, Building Thermal Performance, Computer Simulation, and Environmental Comfort. From 2020 to 2022, she was the faculty advisor for the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) Florianópolis Student Branch, receiving the award for Best ASHRAE Student Branch Advisor of the South Brazil Chapter and ASHRAE Region XII in 2021. More recently, in 2025, she was the recipient of the 31st CNPq Young Scientist Award in the Scientific Merit category for her work on the theme "Response to Climate Change: Science, Technology, and Innovation."
Alberto Hernandez Neto

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1988), Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1993) and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1998). He is currently a professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Works in the area of air conditioning and refrigeration with emphasis on energy efficiency, modeling and simulation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Member of ABCM (Brazilian Association of Mechanical Sciences) and ANPRAC (National Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Professionals).
Martin Gabriel Ordenes Mizgier

He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2002) and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2008). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He has experience in the area of Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Civil Construction, working mainly on the following topics: thermal performance of the envelope, energy efficiency, alternative energies, thermal comfort and sustainability.
Roberto Lamberts

Lamberts holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1980), a master’s degree in Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1983), and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds (1988). He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. His work focuses on Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on Energy Efficiency, Thermal Performance of Buildings, Bioclimatology, and Thermal Comfort. He is the supervisor of the Energy Efficiency in Buildings Laboratory at UFSC. He serves as Associate Editor of the journal Energy and Buildings and is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Building Performance Simulation and Ambiente Construído. He is a member of several scientific associations, including ANTAC (National Association of Built Environment Technology), where he served on the board for several terms, the Brazilian Council for Sustainable Construction (CBCS), and IBPSA (International Building Performance Simulation Association). He is also a member of the Buildings Working Group of the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), supporting the development of the national energy efficiency labeling program for buildings.
Camila Ferreira

She is an architect and urban planner graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), holds an M.Sc. in Built Environment and Sustainable Heritage from the same institution, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP). She has completed postdoctoral fellowships at UFV, UFOP, and UFMG, developing research focused on the thermal and energy performance of the residential sector through computer simulations. Currently, she is a professor in the Department of Technology and Design at the UFMG School of Architecture. Her research focuses on building performance and comfort, urban energy planning, and the adaptation of buildings to climate and climate change.
David Douek

David is the founder and director of OTEC, a benchmark in the Brazilian market for performance in the built environment. At the head of the company, he coordinated consulting and service projects for buildings that add up to more than 10 million square meters in built area. Worked with companies such as: Coca Cola, P&G, GE, GM, Siemens, Natura, Cyrela, Brookfield, Hines, Sicredi, BNDES, GLP, BRP, BBP, Novartis and others of equal importance in the most diverse undertakings typologies that include: urbanism, infrastructure, industrial, logistic, commercial, residential, laboratory and cultural, which were implanted in the five regions of Brazil. He is a master's student in business administration at the Faculty of Economics, Administration and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (FEA USP), holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo and a degree in Business Administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
